District 145 School bond
The Board of Education has called a bond election for May 14, 2024 to address urgent facility needs in our district. Informing the public of the project details prior to election day is a priority of the board and district leadership. The opportunity for the public to engage with bond information will begin toward the beginning of April and continue until election day on May 14. We believe providing well organized and accurate information to the public is essential regarding this important investment in the future of our district.

- Capacity issues at the high school and middle school
- Significant cost to try and keep outdated heating/cooling systems operational
- Building entrances/security systems do not meet today’s safety/security standards
- Current facilities limit program offerings (i.e. Ag, trades, fine arts, special education, early childhood, health, college & career)
